Tech Lead, Dynamics 365 CRM

📋 Description

• Establish technical objectives, methodologies, and architecture for the development team.

• Cultivate the engineering culture.

• Actively develop plugins, custom APIs, integrations, and intricate technical features.

• Perform code reviews and set coding standards.

• Guarantee the maintainability of plugins, JavaScript extensions, PCF controls, and Power Automate flows.

• Oversee the technical architecture of solution layers, managed solutions, publisher prefixes, and ALM pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Ensure a distinct separation between configuration (customization) and professional coding.

• Design and implement interfaces to third-party systems from API conception to authentication.

• Document architecture decisions in Architecture Decision Records and ensure they are binding.

• Approve technical solution strategies arising from tandem refinement.

• Take charge of the technical elements of monthly production releases, including release planning and the hotfix process.

• Mentor and nurture Senior, Mid, and Junior developers.

• Represent the team in cross-functional architecture meetings.

• Offer technical insights on architecture-related topics.

• Collaborate with the Lead D365 Consultant to establish architectural dual leadership for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement platform.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in development on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform.

• Profound knowledge of plugins and custom APIs (C#/.NET).

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript (Xrm Client API), Power Automate, and the Dataverse data model.

• Strong experience with solution layering and ALM.

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across multiple environments using Azure DevOps, Git, and pull-request workflows.

• Experience designing and implementing interfaces to third-party systems (REST/Web APIs, Azure Functions, Service Bus).

• Competent user of the Azure Portal in a D365 context.

• Knowledge of App Registrations and Service Principals (Microsoft Entra ID).

• Experience with secrets management utilizing Azure Key Vault.

• Familiarity with monitoring through Application Insights.

• Background in designing and assessing cloud architectures within the Microsoft Azure environment.

• Experience in technical leadership, whether as a Tech Lead, Lead Developer, or with proven mentoring responsibilities.

• Ability to make, document, and communicate architecture decisions to the team and stakeholders.

• Proficient in German and English (minimum C1+ level).

• Residency in Germany or Austria.

• Experience with PCF controls, preferably with React (desirable).

• Microsoft certification PL-400 or PL-600 (desirable).

• Experience with FakeXrmEasy or other testing frameworks for the Power Platform (desirable).

• Functional knowledge of D365 Sales and Customer Insights (Journey/Data) (desirable).
