This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical direction for the Code Plane.

• Oversee architecture, code quality, and make informed technical trade-offs.

• Develop features for end-users as well as technical surfaces of the product.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to transform ideas into shipped features.

• Integrate customer feedback into the product development roadmap.

• Create systems utilized by agents or other applications, including MCP servers, agent SDKs, tool surfaces, harnesses, or CLIs designed for non-human callers.

• Utilize and analyze coding agents within development workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Proficiency in both backend and frontend technologies: Go, TypeScript, SvelteKit, React, GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes in a multi-service environment.

• Robust technical background with the capability to offer guidance on architecture, code quality, and technical trade-offs.

• Demonstrated experience in developing end-user product features, particularly in developer tools, agent/AI products, CLIs, or other technical surfaces.

• Experience working closely with Product and Design teams to take features from concept to delivery and to incorporate customer feedback into the product roadmap.

• Proven track record in building systems that are called by agents or other programs, such as MCP servers, agent SDKs, tool surfaces, harnesses, or non-human caller CLIs.

• Practical experience with coding agents like Amp, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.

• Strong perspectives on effective workflows involving both humans and agents.

• Excellent async-first communication skills.

• Experience in a globally distributed remote team setting.
