This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Guide a development team as a technical advisor and facilitator.

• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of scalable RESTful APIs utilizing Node.js and TypeScript.

• Design and sustain efficient data models, emphasizing performance, indexing, and consistency.

• Develop services within AWS environments, including ECS, S3, and Lambda.

• Ensure the application’s security, observability, stability, and performance.

• Define and advance the squad’s technical standards, architecture, and best practices.

• Engage in code reviews and architectural decision-making.

• Create and uphold automated tests.

• Assist the team with planning, technical refinement sessions, estimates, and prioritization.

• Promote a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Facilitate communication between back-end, front-end, and product teams.

• Strong experience in developing and maintaining web applications in a production environment.

• Familiarity with REST architecture and best practices in API design.

• Prior experience leading teams, developers, projects, or technical initiatives.

• Experience with SaaS products.

• Proficiency in system monitoring, observability, and scalability.

• Understanding of database modeling.

• Knowledge of Clean Code principles, SOLID, DDD, hexagonal architecture, and automated testing.

• Awareness of API security measures, including authentication, authorization, validation, and rate limiting.

• Insight into backend architecture and cloud environments.

• Proficient in Git and version control workflows.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.

• Clear and confident communication, capable of providing constructive feedback and making technical decisions.

• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Proficient in AWS services, including ECS, S3, and Lambda.

• Knowledge of NestJS or TS.ED is an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree, technology degree, or equivalent technical education as outlined in the job posting.
