Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers.

• Convert product and technical specifications into production-ready front-end and back-end code within a 3-week agile sprint framework.

• Oversee project priorities, sprint planning, and resource distribution.

• Foster team member development through performance evaluations, skill enhancement, and career coaching.

• Develop and sustain React front-end applications with a focus on performance, usability, and clean architecture.

• Design, maintain, and enhance Python-based back-end services and repositories.

• Integrate front-end applications with GraphQL APIs for both internal products and external partner collaborations.

• Visualize data and model outputs to deliver analytical insights.

• Contribute to UX design efforts, including wireframing, mockups, and UI/UX workflows.

• Implement metrics to track user behavior and application usage.

• Test, deploy, and monitor code through CI/CD pipelines.

• Refactor, unit-test, and manage React and Python codebases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

• Prepare and deliver technical or product updates to stakeholders.

• Assess new front-end and back-end technologies, tools, and design principles.

• Assist with broader platform development initiatives as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in web development.

• More than 2 years of experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing engineering teams.

• 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

• 2 to 3+ years of experience with React and contemporary front-end development.

• 2 to 3+ years of experience with Python in production settings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern styling frameworks such as SCSS or CSS.

• Experience in designing and utilizing APIs, including GraphQL.

• Practical experience with AWS, Docker, CDNs, and CI/CD processes.

• Familiarity with Apache Airflow, Neo4J, or other data-driven technologies is an advantage.

• Comprehensive understanding of version control best practices using Git.

• Proficiency in UI/UX workflows, data visualization, and analytics-driven product development.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Must be based in LATAM only.
