Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain essential platform features for both the frontend and backend.

• Engage in technical decision-making concerning architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to provide intuitive and dependable user experiences.

• Produce clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code, encompassing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, standups, and other engineering activities.

• Assist in optimizing platform performance, security, and data integrity for a global user base.

• Offer suggestions to enhance platform usability, automation, engineering workflows, and the developer experience.

• Aid in identifying and resolving technical challenges throughout the application stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in full stack software development, ideally in SaaS or enterprise settings.

• Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React and TypeScript, as well as backend services utilizing Node.js or Python.

• Experience working in dynamic, early-stage startup environments and agile engineering teams.

• Strong grasp of RESTful services, relational databases, API design, and software development best practices.

• Capability to write maintainable, scalable, secure, and thoroughly tested code.

• Comfort in a distributed, async-first working environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with a broader team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across product, design, QA, and engineering.

• Nice to have: Experience in building HRIS, global payroll, workforce management, or other compliance-driven platforms.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

• Nice to have: Experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth and SSO.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of internationalization (i18n), role-based access control, or GDPR compliance.

• Nice to have: Experience with AI-enabled products or integrating AI functionalities into SaaS applications.
