This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee a segment of the Collaboration Technologies team
• Implement and maintain enterprise collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, and innovative AI-driven workplace solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentor a team of engineers
• Influence strategy, governance, and the adoption of collaboration tools
• Create a high-performing team environment
• Ensure the delivery of reliable and secure collaboration services
• Promote innovation through automation and AI initiatives
• Enhance employee experiences that empower staff to create solutions for 3.4 million members and communities
• Oversee daily team operations with a focus on system maintenance and development
• Manage system modifications
• Delegate, monitor, and review work progress and accuracy
• Provide oversight for staff management, including hiring, promotions, and staffing recommendations
• Conduct performance reviews and assessments, manage employee performance, evaluate skills, and encourage professional growth
• Direct, inspire, and develop team members
• Ensure compliance with policies, plans, objectives, budgets, and staffing requirements
• Manage and track project details at the team level
• Act as a technical subject matter expert and lead during transitions
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation as needed
• Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Sciences related field or equivalent professional experience
• 5 years of experience with information technology concepts, application development, and/or enterprise system maintenance methodologies, terminology, and standards
• 5 years of experience in systems maintenance and/or programming
• 3 years of advanced knowledge in at least one programming language and/or one enterprise system utilized at BCBST
• Experience in managing direct reports
• Subject matter expertise in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Exchange
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, security, governance, and service operations
• Experience in leading enterprise collaboration, productivity, or workplace technology platforms
• Familiarity with information technology concepts, methodologies, terminology, and standards
• Proven ability to develop and/or maintain an enterprise IT system
• Subject matter expertise in one or more enterprise IT systems
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Willingness to modify schedule for maintenance and upgrades outside of regular business hours and participate in an on-call rotation
