Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Consistently write code and engage directly in product delivery and progression.

• Design and uphold full-stack solutions, utilizing Java for backend development and React for frontend work.

• Work with PostgreSQL and SQL, encompassing data modeling, queries, optimization, and performance evaluation.

• Create and incorporate Artificial Intelligence-powered features and solutions into the product.

• Contribute to decisions related to architecture, solution design, APIs, security, performance, and scalability.

• Perform code reviews, address complex issues, and offer technical mentorship to developers.

• Assist the CTO in the technical, operational, and personnel leadership of the Development team.

• Facilitate meetings, ceremonies, refinement sessions, planning sessions, and alignment meetings with the team and other departments.

• Oversee deliveries, priorities, obstacles, risks, and employee development, including conducting 1:1s.

• Serve as the CTO’s backup during vacations and absences, ensuring continuity in departmental decisions and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and enhancing B2B SaaS products – required.

• Proficient in English for both spoken and written communication in a professional setting – required.

• Strong full-stack background, with proficiency in Java, React, and PostgreSQL.

• Practical experience in applying Artificial Intelligence to products or software development.

• Background as a Tech Lead, Technical Lead, or Senior Developer with effective leadership responsibility.

• Genuine enthusiasm for programming and a commitment to remaining hands-on.

• Capability to lead teams, facilitate meetings, communicate decisions, and develop team members.

• Understanding of software architecture, APIs, testing, version control, code review, security, and CI/CD.

• Experience in developing features using generative AI, LLMs, or integrations with AI models.

• University degree.

• Familiarity with multi-tenant applications, cloud environments, and high-availability systems is an advantage.

• Experience with AWS, integrations, SSO, and SaaS application security is an advantage.

• Experience in products for regulated industries, particularly Life Sciences, is an advantage.

• Availability to communicate in English, including with native speakers.
