Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead, supervise, and validate the work of generative and agent-based AI agents.

• Design the architecture and define the purpose of each solution.

• Deliver medium-complexity functionalities with speed and quality.

• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate services, pipelines, and models.

• Guide developers and progressively assume technical and human leadership of a team.

• Direct AI agents to generate functions and services, reviewing and refactoring code.

• Write your own code for critical or ambiguous components.

• Design smoke, integration, and end-to-end test strategies.

• Define the architecture of batch pipelines, auditing schemas and consistency between sources and destinations.

• Oversee the training of standard models and hyperparameter tuning.

• Accelerate the triage and diagnosis of incidents by classifying, communicating, and resolving runbooks.

• Validate and prioritize security recommendations and patches.

• Define acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.

• Design prompts, context, and reusable flows for copilots and generative AI.

• Monitor deliverables and contribute to the development and performance of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 10 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.

• Previous experience leading technical teams, supporting other developers, and tracking deliverables.

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical decisions, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide effective feedback.

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills for projects.

• Hands-on experience of at least 1 to 2 years in backend and frontend development.

• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.

• In-depth experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Solid knowledge of pandas and scikit-learn.

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and their machine learning services.

• Fundamentals of software engineering: data structures, design patterns, and architectural principles.

• Experience using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code in real development workflows.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing.

• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Initial experience in machine learning or applied AI projects.

• Technical judgment to evaluate AI outputs.

• Autonomy in medium-complexity tasks and orchestration of AI tools.

• Interest in DevSecOps and the use of AI for productivity.

• Advanced written and spoken English.

• Proven technical leadership and mentoring skills.

• Ability to collaborate with data scientists and product teams.

• Focus on high-quality solutions with rigorous testing.
