Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant features within the Android application and collaborate closely with the design team to deliver high-quality results.

• Help define the future direction of the Android team.

• Manage, maintain, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and provide support to team members.

• Address critical issues and navigate unforeseen challenges.

• Oversee feature releases and supply nightly builds for the QA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Familiarity with Android components.

• Experience in building or contributing to at least one Android application.

• Strong product design intuition and empathy for users.

• A determination to push the limits of Android UI/UX.

• Comprehension of the significance of tests and a methodical approach to test writing.

• Self-motivation to enhance the app and codebase beyond the specified requirements.

• Solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Problem-solving approach that is user-focused.

• Motivated by continuous feedback from leadership.
