Senior Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical vision and architecture for web applications.

• Oversee the complete development process of new user-facing features.

• Transform vague ideas into precise specifications, edge cases, and phased plans.

• Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces based on Figma designs.

• Enhance application performance with a focus on Core Web Vitals.

• Advance the React/Next.js architecture, including routing, state management, and code-splitting strategies.

• Establish React Query caching, retries, and optimistic update strategies.

• Develop a cross-platform component library utilizing Storybook.

• Collaborate with design and product leadership to deliver an exceptional user experience.

• Advocate for engineering in the roadmap while balancing value, effort, and risk.

• Quickly prototype UI/UX to mitigate risks associated with major initiatives alongside design.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer.

• At least 3 years of experience in building and deploying web applications using React and Next.js.

• Profound knowledge of TypeScript, React, and React Native.

• Experience in creating websites from Figma designs.

• Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles.

• A meticulous eye for detail, especially in ensuring the visual quality and interactivity of UI elements.

• Proven experience in refining UI in collaboration with a designer.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Detox.
