Tech Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take charge of delivering multiple concurrent initiatives that encompass web, mobile, and integrations.

• Transform requests into actionable tasks by comprehending objectives, collecting context, clarifying requirements, identifying dependencies and open questions, documenting the scope, and coordinating with stakeholders.

• Oversee initiatives throughout the development, QA, and release phases.

• Facilitate collaboration among Product, Engineering, Design, QA, leadership, external partners, and technical integration teams.

• Spot dependencies, unresolved questions, risks, and changes in scope before they escalate into obstacles.

• Ensure alignment among development, QA, support, and documentation for readiness prior to release.

• Enhance the delivery process and the feature development lifecycle.

• Provide leadership with insights into status, risks, and trade-offs.

• Eliminate obstacles so engineers and designers can concentrate on their specialized tasks.

• Highlight vague specifications, scope creep, partner delays, and unrealistic estimates promptly and transparently.

• Proven experience in owning projects or managing technical delivery from inception to completion, rather than merely tracking tasks.

• Capability to convert ambiguous requests into precise, actionable scopes.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities across multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Proficiency in identifying missing information, dependencies, and risks before they evolve into issues.

• Comfort in coordinating work among individuals with varied specialties.

• Experience collaborating with third-party partners or vendors.

• Confidence in providing direct feedback and maintaining standards concerning scope, quality, or timelines.

• Good judgment on when to escalate issues, when to inquire, and when to make decisions.

• Sufficient technical curiosity and understanding to collaborate effectively with engineers and manage technical integrations.

• Genuine ability to work asynchronously and communicate effectively in writing.

• A minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with the core team is essential.

• Experience in product management or operations, software development, systems analysis, QA, API integrations, PHP, Laravel, React Native, healthcare or fintech, or environments adhering to HIPAA compliance is advantageous but not mandatory.
