Team Lead – Swift, Objective-C, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead a development team focused on tomedo® by providing technical guidance.

• Foster an environment conducive to concentrated work and promote both professional and personal growth.

• Facilitate regular discussions about development progress.

• Mentor team members, engage in pair programming, and conduct code reviews to share expertise.

• Assist new team members as they integrate into the group.

• Coordinate efforts between Product Management, UI/UX, Support, Testing, and Development teams.

• Manage priority negotiations and highlight technical debt and bottlenecks.

• Simplify complex technical ideas into clear, comprehensible language.

• Assume responsibility for critical modules and create proof-of-concept projects.

• Assess architectural choices in relation to the codebase's realities.

• Implement code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD practices as common development standards.

• Stay updated on modern development tools, including AI and agent-based solutions, and integrate relevant options.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in software development.

• Ideally, familiarity with native Objective-C/Swift or Java development.

• Proven experience in providing technical leadership or similar responsibilities for developers.

• Ability to empower colleagues at various experience levels to thrive.

• Experience with agentic software development or AI tools.

• Understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Proficiency with Git-based workflows.

• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD methodologies.

• Fluent in German at a minimum C1 level.

• Good command of the English language.
