iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Integrate advanced product features through backend APIs.

• Design user experience patterns for real-time interactions, encompassing streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and failure recovery.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery efficiency, and memory management.

• Gather user signals and telemetry to facilitate ongoing model assessment and product enhancement.

• Collaborate with ML and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system architectures.

• Maintain production quality, release standards, and stability in the App Store.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.

• Hands-on experience in integrating AI-driven or machine learning features into mobile applications.

• In-depth understanding of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Proven ability to create resilient client experiences considering network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• History of launching and supporting consumer-facing production apps available on the App Store.

• Knowledge of on-device ML frameworks like CoreML and feature flagging configurations.

• Strong product intuition centered on mobile user experience and client-side reliability.
