iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Integrate advanced product functionalities via backend APIs.

• Design user experience frameworks for real-time interactions, incorporating streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and recovery from failures.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery usage, and memory management.

• Gather user signals and telemetry to facilitate ongoing model assessment and product refinement.

• Collaborate with ML and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system architectures.

• Maintain stringent production quality, release criteria, and App Store reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.

• Proven experience in implementing AI-driven or machine learning functionalities within mobile applications.

• In-depth knowledge of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Capability to design resilient client experiences considering network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• Proven history of launching and supporting consumer-facing production applications in the App Store.

• Understanding of on-device ML frameworks like CoreML.

• Knowledge of feature flagging implementations.

• Strong product intuition emphasizing mobile UX and client-side reliability.
