iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Seamlessly integrate advanced product features through backend APIs.

• Design user experience patterns for real-time interactions, including streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and recovery from failures.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery usage, and memory control.

• Gather user signals and telemetry for ongoing model assessment and product refinement.

• Collaborate with machine learning and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system architectures.

• Maintain production quality, adhere to release standards, and ensure App Store stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in iOS development using Swift.

• Hands-on experience in implementing AI-driven or machine learning functionalities within mobile applications.

• In-depth knowledge of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Capability to design resilient client experiences that account for network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• Proven history of launching and maintaining consumer-facing production applications in the App Store.

• Familiarity with on-device machine learning frameworks such as CoreML.

• Knowledge of feature flagging implementations.

• Strong product intuition with a focus on mobile user experience and client-side reliability.
