iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Incorporate advanced product features through integration with backend APIs.

• Design user experience frameworks for real-time interactions, encompassing streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and failure recovery.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery life, and memory utilization.

• Gather user signals and telemetry for ongoing model assessment and product refinement.

• Collaborate with machine learning and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system architectures.

• Maintain production quality, release criteria, and ensure App Store stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in iOS development using Swift.

• Hands-on experience in implementing AI-driven or machine learning functionalities within mobile applications.

• In-depth understanding of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Capability to design resilient client experiences addressing network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• Proven history of launching and maintaining consumer-facing production apps on the App Store.

• Knowledge of on-device machine learning frameworks like CoreML and feature flagging configurations.

• Strong product intuition with a focus on mobile user experience and client-side reliability.
