Team Lead, Subject-Matter Coordinator – IT Retraining, Data and Process Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance and foster the development of a team of instructors involved in IT retraining initiatives, emphasizing training for IT specialists.

• Encourage and enhance the professional and personal growth of team members.

• Assume responsibility for teaching quality and consistently innovate teaching concepts and formats.

• Oversee the creation, improvement, and updating of educational materials for IT retraining programs.

• Assist IT upskilling initiatives as required.

• Collaborate with other departments to refine workflows, IHK coordination, processes, and service offerings.

• Educate and provide support to retraining participants throughout classes, project work, and the application process.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training, preferably in an IT-related domain, or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience with IHK-funded retraining programs and teaching, ideally in mentoring and training IT specialists.

• Practical expertise in data and process analysis, including familiarity with relevant methods and frameworks.

• A keen interest in databases, data analysis, and process modeling, with the capacity to rapidly assimilate new trends.

• Experience in providing subject-matter expertise or mentoring others, preferably instructors.

• Strong specialist knowledge in at least one of the following fields: software development, IT infrastructure, data analysis, process management, or digitalization.

• Exceptional teaching and communication abilities.

• An approachable, appreciative, and participant-centered demeanor.

• Proficient in written and spoken German.

• AEVO certificate (AdA), Train the Trainer certification, or a comparable pedagogical qualification is advantageous.

• Familiarity with digital learning formats and learning management systems is a plus.

• Experience in creating and producing educational content, including teaching materials, learning assessments, exams, and exercises, is a bonus.
