Team Lead – State Filings, Property and Casualty Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee initiatives related to state filings.

• Provide mentorship, coaching, and training to filing analysts.

• Investigate and assess product compliance with state insurance regulations, offering guidance to management.

• Execute filing processes in SERFF.

• Address regulatory objections and liaise with state insurance departments.

• Update Product and Underwriting teams on changes in forms and compliance matters.

• Collaborate with Compliance teams to maintain current customer assessments and surcharges across systems.

• Manage annual compliance filings, including GA Schedule Mod, ensuring completion in SERFF.

• Coordinate updates for workers’ compensation arising from bureau or NCCI filing modifications.

• Monitor ISO changes for Businessowners policies and facilitate their implementation.

• Conduct quality control verifications.

• Handle filings with the California Public Utilities Commission and establish WC Bureau accounts as necessary.

• Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with state product filings in the P&C industry.

• This position may be remote.

• Occasional travel 1 to 2 times per year as needed.
