Team Lead, People Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop a unified and standardized HR framework across 19 companies.

• Oversee a team comprising three employees and two working students.

• Assume responsibility for ongoing team and capability enhancement.

• Manage company-wide projects focused on standardization and centralization.

• Gradually unify decentralized payroll offices.

• Create efficient workflows, refine processes, and institute sustainable HR practices.

• Harmonize and centralize payroll, contracts, compensation and benefits, onboarding and offboarding, time management, and compliance.

• Ensure high-quality and current employee data in Personio.

• Generate professional HR reports for management and the Board.

• Guarantee adherence to employment, tax, social security, and data protection regulations.

• Oversee post-merger integration initiatives and incorporate new companies into the HR framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience as a Project Lead or Team Lead in People Operations.

• Background in a private equity setting.

• Demonstrated success in leading complex transformation and centralization initiatives across various companies.

• Experience in standardizing payroll and compensation and benefits, as well as implementing software, Power BI, or AI solutions.

• Strong communication and change management abilities.

• Strategic mindset with a solid grasp of people analytics and contemporary HR systems landscapes.

• Proven experience using Personio.

• In-depth understanding of HR data management and data quality.

• Experience in analyzing, standardizing, and sustainably optimizing processes within intricate organizational structures.

• Knowledge of employment, tax, social security, and data protection regulations within an HR context.

• Desirable: initial experience in preparing and structuring data for AI-driven use cases.
