Team Lead, CRM / Email Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 3–5 Account Managers, overseeing both functional and disciplinary aspects.

• Conduct organized weekly one-on-one meetings and take charge of team well-being.

• Facilitate employee development through training, constructive feedback, and a well-structured onboarding process.

• Manage the development and performance of a portfolio consisting of approximately 6–8 high-demand client accounts.

• Act as a senior contact point for decision-makers, proactively introducing relevant topics during client calls.

• Identify potential churn risks early, determine suitable countermeasures, and guide at-risk accounts back to a growth path.

• Serve as the team's subject-matter expert, responsible for Klaviyo and CRM architecture.

• Provide functional coaching to Account Managers, assisting in the expansion of their skills.

• Oversee a company-wide employee process, such as onboarding or offboarding.

• Align standards with other Key Account Managers and actively share insights and learnings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–4 years of experience in email marketing or CRM, preferably within an agency or e-commerce setting.

• Extensive practical experience with Klaviyo or a similar platform (Braze, Emarsys, Bloomreach, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

• Demonstrated ability to independently build complex setups rather than just providing support.

• Initial experience in leadership or mentoring roles.

• Confident in communicating with senior decision-makers, including managing directors and heads of marketing.

• Native-level proficiency in German.

• Strong written and spoken English skills.

• Residence in Germany is mandatory for tax and social security purposes.
