T&D Construction Manager – Grid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical leadership on substation projects, focusing on design and commissioning, particularly in protection and control.

• Partner with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.

• Assess engineering design packages and material specifications for thoroughness and feasibility.

• Oversee construction progress at a high level to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

• Create, review, and facilitate the execution of commissioning procedures, including system testing and startup.

• Support engineering project management with progress monitoring, coordination, and troubleshooting of technical challenges.

• Conduct on-site visits as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 14 years of experience in substation design and commissioning is required.

• A solid understanding of protection and control systems is essential.

• Proven capability to collaborate effectively across engineering, construction, and commissioning sectors.

• Extensive knowledge of substation equipment, protection schemes, schematics, and commissioning protocols is necessary.

• Work authorization in the U.S. is required; the employer does not provide sponsorship for work authorization.
