This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate existing processes and assist in defining the future state for tax product technology.
• Shape product vision, strategy, and conduct feature research for the roadmap.
• Foster continuous improvement and contribute to the development and processes of tax products.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the product team regarding feature requests and communicate the development roadmap to Tax Operations.
• Provide clarity and insights on user experiences and use cases.
• Participate in the transition and training associated with new software releases.
• Engage in troubleshooting, identify actionable steps for resolution, and take part in user acceptance testing.
• Assist with data extraction, transformation, and manipulation for analytics purposes.
• Support the creation of presentations and data visualizations to highlight findings.
• Ensure that AI-generated outputs are accurate, complete, compliant, and aligned with business needs and company policies.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and training materials for Tax Operations.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in the HCM industry or in a similar analytical role.
• Proven capability in process improvement and research.
• Ability to articulate key features and roadmap criteria for stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration.
• Preference for candidates with over 1 year in a tax environment.
• A comprehensive perspective that encompasses clients, internal stakeholders, and tax agencies.
• Experience in creating SOPs, process documentation, or training materials.
• Proficiency with approved productivity tools, including AI-assisted solutions.
• Ability to critically evaluate tool-generated outputs for accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate use.
• A self-directed and motivated approach.
• Proficiency in data gathering and analysis.
• Exceptional organizational, follow-up, and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to challenges.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Strong proficiency in mathematics.
• Capability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours a day.
• Ability to operate computer and phone systems, type, and use multiple software programs simultaneously.
