This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Oversee the global tax and compliance calendar, monitoring due dates, dependencies, responsible parties, extensions, payments, and filing statuses.
• Prepare and compile workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for external tax, statutory, and compliance consultants.
• Assist in federal, state, local, and international income tax compliance, indirect tax, property tax, information reporting, and various business filings.
• Reconcile submitted amounts with the general ledger.
• Review and document intercompany charges, allocations, management fees, royalties, loans, interest, and other cross-entity transactions.
• Reconcile due-to/due-from balances, investigate discrepancies, coordinate confirmations, and prepare settlement schedules.
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation and offer schedules and transaction-level assistance.
• Identify transactions requiring withholding, documentation, or reporting, and coordinate technical determinations.
• Prepare recurring tax-related journal entries and account reconciliations; assist with tax provisions, tax account rollforwards, and closing requirements.
• Address information requests from tax authorities and auditors while ensuring audit-ready documentation.
• Document processes, enhance review controls, and standardize compliance and intercompany practices.
• Convey compliance requirements, requests, and timelines to Accounting, FP&A, Payroll, Legal, and local teams.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline is required.
• Three to five years of progressive experience in tax accounting, corporate accounting, or public accounting.
• Proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with income tax compliance, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and general ledger processes; international experience is highly preferred.
• Strong Excel capabilities and experience working with ERP systems and large datasets.
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines, follow up persistently, and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• CPA, EA, Master's degree in Taxation, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
• Experience in a multi-entity setting is preferred.
• Fully remote work arrangement
• Ability to live anywhere in Italy
