Task Force Director – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute transitional Director of Finance/Controller responsibilities across designated properties

• Ensure financial compliance and continuity across specified locations

• Analyze financial data for hotels, including labor costs, forecasts, and budgets

• Provide guidance to teams on cost management and revenue enhancement strategies

• Lead the accounting teams at property level

• Educate department heads on financial tools, reporting standards, and best operational practices

• Oversee payroll, accounts payable/accounts receivable, tax accruals, and credit card reconciliations

• Manage risk assessment and audit procedures

• Implement internal control measures

• Ensure timely completion of month-end closings, licensing, and PCI compliance

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting

• At least 2 years in a leadership position

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, income audits, and general ledger reconciliation

• Experience in hotel finance and full-service operations is preferred

• CHAE certification is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Familiarity with POS/PMS systems

• Experience with Sage300, ProfitSage, Coupa, Workday, and Concur is preferred

• Willingness to travel over 80% to meet property needs across the portfolio
