This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, interview, and recruit exceptional Guest Teacher candidates to achieve hiring objectives.

• Develop candidate pipelines utilizing both digital and traditional recruitment methods.

• Engage candidates with Kokua’s mission, encouraging them to view the classroom as an environment where they can create a significant impact.

• Keep precise and timely records within applicant tracking and onboarding systems.

• Leverage data to monitor progress, pinpoint challenges, and enhance the candidate experience.

• Update dashboards and reports in Google Sheets to ensure team alignment.

• Act as the primary contact for Guest Teachers, fostering relationships and encouraging assignment completion and retention.

• Communicate with professionalism and empathy to provide an outstanding experience for candidates and partners.

• Represent Kokua positively, creating a welcoming atmosphere for every Guest Teacher.

• Collaborate closely with Operations and Regional Talent Teams to ensure Guest Teacher availability meets school needs.

• Contribute to a cooperative, solution-oriented environment where deadlines are met and objectives are collectively achieved.


⛳️ Requirements

• An astute judge of talent capable of making solid hiring decisions based on insight, judgment, and experience.

• Highly organized, detail-focused, and process-oriented with a strong commitment to follow-through.

• A skilled relationship-builder who can connect with candidates from various backgrounds.

• Tech-savvy and quick to grasp new systems.

• Persistent and determined, possessing the resilience to achieve goals in a dynamic environment.

• A clear and effective communicator who balances professionalism with a personable approach.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, or a related field.

• Experience in teaching or working within K–12 education is highly preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and digital communication tools (Zoom, Slack, TextUs).

• Familiarity with ATS or HRIS systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Paylocity) is preferred but not mandatory.
