This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina, +1 more state.
• Oversee the complete life cycle of recruiting, from the initial intake and sourcing strategy to candidate selection, offer negotiation, and successful hiring.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to assess workforce requirements, set priorities, create sourcing strategies, and fill essential positions.
• Conduct intake meetings to clarify job requirements, candidate profiles, timelines, compensation parameters, and sourcing strategies.
• Design and implement sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, professional networks, social media, employee referrals, targeted outreach, and other recruitment resources.
• Recruit for technical and professional roles in government contracting settings, including specialized and cleared talent.
• Evaluate candidates for technical qualifications, competencies, experience, and alignment with organizational culture.
• Foster relationships with candidates, address their concerns, and keep them engaged to facilitate offer acceptance.
• Provide hiring managers with insights on the market, candidate availability, compensation considerations, and recruitment metrics.
• Offer guidance to hiring managers on candidate selection, interviewing techniques, recruitment challenges, and hiring strategies.
• Lead discussions regarding salary and offers, negotiate within set parameters, and extend employment offers.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of candidate, requisition, and recruitment activity in the Greenhouse ATS.
• Cultivate relationships with professional organizations, community partners, military and veteran groups, and other talent sources.
• Guarantee compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and federal contractor hiring and recordkeeping regulations.
• Participate in recruiting activities for growth as needed.
• Manage multiple concurrent requisitions and navigate competing priorities.
• A Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of technical defense recruiting experience; eight (8) years of such experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Proven experience in full life cycle recruiting, encompassing intake, sourcing, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing.
• Experience in recruiting technical and specialized professionals within the defense sector, particularly in the Norfolk, VA, and Charleston, SC, regions.
• Prior experience in recruiting for the federal government contracting environment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of federal contractor recruiting requirements and relevant compliance considerations, including Fair Labor Standards, Revolving Door legislation, and recruiting transitioning military personnel.
• Experience recruiting candidates for positions necessitating DOD/DOW security clearances.
• Capability to develop sourcing strategies and identify qualified candidates for challenging or highly specialized roles.
• Strong negotiation skills and candidate relationship management abilities, with a proven track record of successfully closing candidates.
• Ability to establish credibility and build trusted relationships with hiring managers, senior leaders, candidates, and other essential stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate operational hiring needs into effective recruitment strategies.
• Capacity to independently manage multiple requisitions, competing priorities, and hiring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is required; familiarity with Greenhouse is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills.
