This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, lead, and expand national Talent Acquisition initiatives focused on early career recruitment and workforce objectives.
• Create program roadmaps, success metrics, timelines, and stakeholder alignment strategies.
• Enhance candidate experiences throughout early career, conference, and engagement avenues, from initial awareness to hire.
• Establish and oversee the early career talent engine, which includes engagement with the College of Veterinary Medicine, technician training, externship pathways, and entry-level hiring pipelines.
• Collaborate with Medicine, DVM Engagement, Marketing, field leadership, and Talent Acquisition partners.
• Develop scalable programs that connect aspiring veterinarians and technicians with AmeriVet hospitals, mentors, educational opportunities, and career pathways.
• Monitor top-of-funnel activities, engagement rates, application processes, offer acceptance, and conversion outcomes.
• Create and implement a national conference engagement strategy and activate employer branding.
• Define conference messaging, booth experiences, materials, lead capturing, follow-up campaigns, and post-event nurturing.
• Develop tools, playbooks, and standardized processes for consistent program implementation.
• Manage reporting and analytics for early career and conference initiatives.
• Establish KPIs, set baselines, track progress, analyze trends, and provide investment recommendations.
• Prepare insights for leadership that link program activities to hiring objectives, brand awareness, engagement, and return on investment.
• Function as a strategic program leader without direct reports.
• 5+ years of experience in campus recruiting, early career programs, university relations, employer branding, or related program management.
• Proven experience in developing or scaling early career, internship, externship, student engagement, technician training, or workforce pipeline initiatives.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical, business, marketing, and talent acquisition leaders to design and implement impactful programs.
• Experience in crafting employer branding or candidate engagement strategies to support awareness, attraction, and conversion.
• Proficiency in using data, reporting, and funnel metrics to assess program effectiveness and guide decisions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Preferably has experience in veterinary, healthcare, higher education, or national conference strategy.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–40%.
