Talent Acquisition Specialist – Full-Time, Fixed Term

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Manage the recruitment process for Avis, Budget, and Apex across Australia.

• Collaborate with business leaders to attract talent that meets operational requirements.

• Utilize the applicant tracking system to oversee applicant statuses in real-time and ensure compliance.

• Evaluate and shortlist candidates based on role specifications prior to interviews.

• Organize both in-person and virtual interviews while requesting feedback and status updates.

• Process applicants, extend job offers, arrange start dates, and conduct follow-ups.

• Ensure a smooth, high-quality candidate experience throughout the application, offer, and pre-employment phases.

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and offer expertise in talent acquisition.

• Maintain communication with candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, and other stakeholders.

• Promote job openings through suitable channels while adhering to departmental budgets.

• Provide training and resources to line managers on best practices and procedures for talent acquisition.

• Formulate strategic sourcing strategies for challenging roles to fill.

• Achieve recruitment key performance indicators (KPIs).

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a recruitment role utilizing an applicant tracking system.

• Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

• Proficiency in full-cycle recruitment for a diverse range of positions, from operational to management levels.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of engaging with all business levels, including Senior Leadership.

• Creative thinking skills to devise innovative methods for attracting and sourcing talent.

• Must be located in either Mascot, Sydney, or Brisbane.

• Experience in either in-house or agency recruitment settings.

• Highly organized and adept in a dynamic, high-volume recruitment landscape.
