This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for 4–6 technical and non-technical positions simultaneously, from initial intake to job offer.
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to establish required skills, interview strategies, compensation ranges, and timelines.
• Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, referrals, communities, and events to source both active and passive candidates.
• Develop talent pools for recurring and challenging-to-fill positions.
• Evaluate applications and perform recruiter screenings to assess candidates' skills, experience, motivation, and alignment with company values.
• Create and manage structured, competency-based interviews, skills assessments, and case exercises.
• Organize interview panels and ensure prompt debriefing sessions.
• Draft and present approved job offers, guiding candidates through the offer process.
• Refer complex negotiations to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead.
• Provide candidates with a timely, transparent, and respectful experience throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain precise ATS records and communicate updates on the recruitment pipeline and metrics.
• Ensure adherence to Canadian employment standards, human rights, accessibility, pay transparency, and PIPEDA regulations in hiring practices.
• Collect feedback from hiring managers and candidates to enhance recruitment workflows, templates, and guides.
• Collaborate with People Ops, Marketing, and hiring managers on employer branding, interviewer training, workforce planning, DEI initiatives, and handoffs from offer to start date.
• Report directly to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead.
• 2–3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in-house, focusing on tech or SaaS hiring.
• A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience in recruiting both technical and non-technical roles.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to screen candidates and collaborate effectively with hiring teams.
• Strong sourcing abilities, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and community engagement.
• Demonstrated history of building diverse talent pipelines.
• Practical experience with an Applicant Tracking System such as Teamtailor, Greenhouse, or Lever.
• Capability to analyze recruitment data to identify bottlenecks and track progress.
• Experience conducting structured, competency-based interviews.
• Proven ability to facilitate offers within established compensation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Canadian employment standards, human rights, accessibility, pay transparency, and PIPEDA regulations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Daily engagement with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or AI features in sourcing and ATS platforms.
• Sound judgment concerning fairness and privacy in AI usage.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful.
• Comfortable managing multiple recruitment processes in a dynamic environment.
• CPHR/CHRP, AIRS, or LinkedIn Certified Professional – Recruiter certification is a plus but not mandatory.
