Talent Acquisition Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire recruitment cycle from sourcing candidates to extending offers for designated roles in the United States and Canada.

• Assess, interview, evaluate, and present job offers, as well as perform reference and background checks.

• Create compelling job advertisements and recruitment materials.

• Advertise and manage postings on career websites and various media platforms.

• Identify candidates through job boards, resume databases, social media, and referral networks.

• Collaborate with recruitment agencies to clarify position requirements, candidate profiles, and the recruitment process.

• Evaluate resumes and qualifications against job specifications.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews; conduct and summarize first-stage interviews.

• Build and maintain candidate pipelines to ensure a robust talent pool.

• Keep applicant and interview outcome records using the applicant tracking system.

• Foster ongoing relationships with hiring managers and provide insights on talent acquisition trends and job market dynamics.

• Gain an understanding of PSI's business and functional areas to effectively target and recruit talent.

• Act as a contact point for candidates, enhancing PSI's employer brand, and ensuring a positive experience for candidates.

• Deliver progress updates and analytical reports on recruiting to hiring managers and the Training & Resourcing team.

• Assess and refine recruiting processes and strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in talent sourcing and recruitment.

• Experience in recruiting within the Clinical Research, Pharma, or Biotech sectors is advantageous.

• Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, resume databases, social media for recruitment purposes, and/or candidate management systems.

• Familiarity with interview techniques and sourcing strategies.

• Understanding of employment law and general human resources practices.
