This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee the complete recruiting process for technical, professional, and leadership roles across various offices, disciplines, locations, and experience levels.
• Conduct in-depth intake meetings to clarify business needs, qualifications, candidate profiles, decision-making processes, timelines, and success metrics.
• Develop and implement search strategies utilizing direct sourcing, talent mapping, referrals, professional networks, targeted research, and recruiting platforms.
• Craft personalized outreach messages for candidates.
• Handle job postings, applicant management, phone screenings, interview coordination, feedback collection, reference checks, offer negotiations, and search documentation within SmartRecruiters.
• Juggle multiple searches while ensuring clear and timely communication with hiring teams and candidates.
• Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and operational leaders.
• Leverage market research, sourcing results, candidate feedback, compensation data, and recruiting analytics to assess search viability and inform decisions.
• Suggest modifications to qualifications, compensation, titles, geography, interview methods, or timelines as needed.
• Establish consistent and job-relevant evaluation criteria.
• Utilize knowledge of architecture, engineering, construction, consulting, or related technical talent markets.
• Create talent maps and gather competitive intelligence.
• Foster and maintain relationships with passive candidates.
• Translate market insights into actionable guidance for hiring teams and messaging for prospective candidates.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues, coordinators, and administrative or operational staff.
• Enhance recruiting workflows, technology utilization, data quality, candidate engagement, and hiring team practices.
• Participate in recruiting and employer branding initiatives.
• Attend occasional team meetings, recruiting events, and office visits as necessary.
• A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including the management of complex or hard-to-fill searches.
• Direct recruiting experience in architecture, engineering, construction, consulting, or a closely related technical field is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in sourcing and engaging passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, talent mapping, professional networks, ATS or CRM databases, and additional research techniques.
• Experience collaborating with hiring managers and business leaders to identify needs, develop recruiting strategies, assess market conditions, and modify search requirements.
• Ability to independently manage multiple searches across various disciplines, stakeholders, locations, priorities, and timelines.
• Strong judgment and confidence in providing recommendations, voicing concerns, and respectfully challenging assumptions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Experience utilizing recruiting data, sourcing results, candidate feedback, and market intelligence to evaluate effectiveness and inform decisions.
• Proficiency in an Applicant Tracking System and recruiting technology.
• Experience with SmartRecruiters is a plus.
• Comfort in a decentralized work environment.
• Collaborative and inquisitive mindset with the ability to build influence through trust.
• Must reside in the United States and be able to work standard business hours aligned with the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.
• A reliable internet connection and a professional setting suitable for virtual meetings.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support, both now and in the future.
