This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, compliance with HR regulations, company policies, and departmental processes.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, hiring managers, and staffing reports to assess staffing requirements.
• Refresh active requisition data in the Applicant Tracking System on a weekly basis.
• Oversee the ATS, documenting requisitions, applicant activities, candidate statuses, interview notes, feedback, and associated paperwork.
• Partner with approved recruitment agencies as necessary.
• Conduct intake discussions with hiring managers to establish interview schedules and recruitment strategies.
• Source and attract qualified candidates through both active and passive methods utilizing platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting tools.
• Evaluate candidates through daily and weekly quality assessments.
• Organize candidate and hiring manager interviews, including travel arrangements when required.
• Provide updates on recruitment progress to stakeholders and monitor advancements toward recruiting objectives.
• Prepare and extend verbal and formal offer letters by the next business day and assist in negotiations.
• Monitor and communicate candidate progress regarding offer acceptance.
• Foster collaborative relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and company stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or necessary.
• A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in full-cycle, high-volume recruiting is required.
• Human resources professional certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• A solid understanding of talent acquisition and/or human resource principles, practices, and procedures is essential.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems is required.
• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems, particularly Workday, is preferred.
• Proficiency in job boards and resume mining platforms is required (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint, is required.
• Demonstrated customer service experience with both internal and external customers is necessary.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Occasional travel up to 15% to Groundworks corporate office, branch locations, or company events is required.
