This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the main point of contact and expert in recruitment for CWB Group.
• Provide a consultative, comprehensive recruitment experience from start to finish.
• Guide and assist leaders in recruitment best practices, interviewing techniques, candidate evaluation, hiring decisions, and recruitment technology.
• Manage recruitment processes once hiring needs are defined and approved.
• Support hiring managers by offering training and assistance throughout the recruitment process.
• Oversee and coordinate job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, assessments, reference checks, offer preparations, and onboarding processes.
• Offer insights into market trends, talent availability, sourcing strategies, and best practices for hiring.
• Conduct full-cycle recruitment for various roles including professional, technical, operational, and leadership positions.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and managers on workforce planning and recruitment needs.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws, organizational policies, and recruitment standards.
• Promote continuous enhancement of recruitment programs, tools, and methodologies.
• Guarantee a consistent and positive candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding.
• Organize recruitment activities and maintain communication with candidates.
• Support initiatives related to recruitment branding, employer branding, and talent attraction.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines.
• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, assessment providers, and other external recruitment partners.
• Serve as the expert for recruitment systems including ATS and HCM platforms like Dayforce, UKG Pro, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed.
• Generate recruitment reports and analyze metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate experience, and hiring activity.
• Report directly to the Director of Human Resources.
• Operate from a home office with occasional travel for collaboration, regional meetings, and other necessary duties.
• Post-Secondary Education in HR or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Proven experience in providing consultative recruitment support to leaders and hiring managers.
• Background in training and advising managers on recruitment best practices.
• Experience in recruiting for professional, technical, operational, and leadership roles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web-based platforms like Microsoft Teams.
• Solid experience with Human Capital Management systems, particularly Applicant Tracking Systems such as Dayforce and UKG Pro.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Capability to travel within Canada on occasion.
• CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in French is regarded as an asset.
• Experience in utilizing AI-enabled tools and technology is considered an asset.
