This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and consistently enhance Profound’s talent acquisition strategy.
• Develop effective recruiting systems and processes that promote quality, consistency, and growth.
• Anticipate changing recruiting needs and establish the infrastructure, tools, and practices necessary for organizational expansion.
• Assess and refine recruiting technology, external partnerships, sourcing assistance, and other resources.
• Oversee the complete recruiting process throughout the organization.
• Create talent pipelines for recurring, hard-to-fill, and strategically significant positions.
• Engage in hands-on sourcing, candidate evaluation, and candidate relationship management.
• Provide a thoughtful candidate experience that reflects Profound’s culture and values.
• Act as a reliable talent advisor to hiring managers.
• Convert business requirements into actionable recruiting strategies.
• Offer market insights and challenge preconceived notions regarding candidate profiles, evaluation, and selection.
• Mentor and assist managers to enhance their hiring capabilities.
• Track hiring demand, recruiting capacity, and talent market trends.
• Utilize recruiting data to identify challenges and enhance hiring results.
• Suggest the allocation of internal resources, sourcing assistance, agencies, and flexible capacity.
• A minimum of 6 years of progressive talent acquisition experience.
• Robust full-cycle recruiting skills, including sourcing, candidate assessment, hiring manager collaboration, and candidate closure.
• Experience in building, improving, or scaling talent acquisition practices within a growing organization.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate hiring needs into effective recruiting strategies.
• Capability to challenge existing assumptions and propose alternative methods.
• A builder mindset, with the ability to identify issues, develop practical solutions, and create scalable structures.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment while ensuring ownership, follow-through, and maintaining high standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Preferred experience in recruiting for a multi-site, geographically diverse, or operationally complex organization.
• Preferred experience in supporting significant organizational growth or scaling.
• Preferred experience in clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, biotechnology, or another regulated industry.
• Preferred experience using recruiting data, technology, talent pipelines, and adaptable recruiting resources.
