Talent Acquisition Business Partner

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to identify both current and future hiring requirements.

• Create proactive recruitment strategies that align with workforce plans, business expansion, and operational priorities.

• Oversee the recruitment process for specialist, senior, complex, and critical business vacancies from approval to onboarding.

• Direct and manage the entire recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, negotiation, and pre-employment checks.

• Formulate sourcing strategies utilizing direct search, headhunting, referrals, job advertisements, networking, and talent pools.

• Develop and maintain talent pipelines and communities for critical and challenging roles.

• Engage passive candidates through proactive outreach and effective relationship management.

• Offer expert insights on candidate availability, salary expectations, market trends, and hiring strategies.

• Address unclear requirements, delays in decision-making, and recruitment risks while proposing practical solutions.

• Influence hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques, assessments, and evidence-based hiring decisions.

• Track recruitment KPIs, including time-to-hire, cost per hire, source effectiveness, pipeline conversion, and vacancy aging.

• Generate recruitment reports, dashboards, hiring forecasts, and market insights for stakeholders.

• Utilize recruitment data and market intelligence to pinpoint risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

• Assist with role profiling, job evaluations, career frameworks, job families, and appropriate job titles.

• Ensure recruitment processes adhere to employment legislation, internal policies, GDPR, and other relevant requirements.

• Keep precise candidate records, approvals, interview documentation, and audit trails.

• Discover opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring results.

• Advocate for the implementation of AI, automation, and digital recruitment tools.

• Act as a trusted partner in Talent Acquisition for business leaders and stakeholders.

• Mentor junior recruiters, assist new hires, and share best practices in recruitment.

• Contribute to broader People initiatives related to business growth, transformation, and organizational change.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment or Talent Acquisition, ideally in high-volume, technical, operational, or complex recruitment settings.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR teams on workforce planning and recruitment strategies.

• Proficient in managing specialist, senior, complex, or critical vacancies.

• Advanced sourcing capabilities, including direct search, headhunting, market mapping, talent pipelining, and engaging passive candidates.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.

• Experience utilizing recruitment data, KPIs, reporting, and market intelligence to enhance hiring outcomes.

• Strong knowledge of recruitment compliance, including employment legislation, right-to-work checks, GDPR, and internal recruitment policies.

• Proven experience in managing offers, salary negotiations, candidate objections, and competing opportunities.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple complex vacancies and priorities concurrently.

• Outstanding interviewing, candidate assessment, and selection abilities.

• Strong commercial insight with the capacity to balance quality, speed, and cost.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating recruitment risks.

• High attention to detail and a robust commitment to governance and compliance.

• Proficient with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

• Experience mentoring junior recruiters or aiding in recruitment capability development.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and a keen interest in AI, automation, and emerging recruitment technologies.

• Strong awareness of current Talent Acquisition trends, sourcing techniques, tools, and market practices.
