This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Responsible for creating, reviewing, and approving requisitions and offers in accordance with university standard operating procedures, ensuring accurate data entry.

• Ensures that the talent acquisition and recruitment processes adhere to university policies, guidelines, contractual obligations, and relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

• Conducts intake meetings with hiring managers, senior HR partners, and/or generalists to understand job roles and develop ideal candidate profiles.

• Provides support and recommends resources to hiring departments throughout the search process, including interview experiences and question development.

• Participates in search committees, the selection process for executive search firms, and other special committees that support talent acquisition and institutional compliance.

• Contributes to quarterly hiring trend reports and metrics related to talent acquisition, such as time-to-fill, candidate yield ratio, turnover, and diversity composition.

• Analyzes under-qualified or stale applicant pools and may suggest position reclassifications based on analysis and feedback from hiring departments.

• Supports recruitment marketing initiatives for technical and hard-to-fill positions.

• Aids in developing training tools and resources and provides training for new talent acquisition professionals, generalists, and hiring departments as necessary.

• Identifies opportunities for optimizing business processes, systems, and guidelines, and submits recommendations to Talent Acquisition Team Leadership.

• Assists with social media content creation and advertising efforts on platforms such as LinkedIn, Canva, and Instagram.

• Assists in planning recruitment events and managing outreach efforts, both in-person and virtual.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrates initiative while working independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to communicate effectively and advocate for human resources best practices.

• Capable of thriving in a dynamic environment while showing flexibility and adaptability.

• Skilled in multitasking and maintaining composure under pressure.

• Knowledgeable in key human resources principles, talent acquisition best practices, and relevant employment laws and regulations.
