Systems Integrator III – SCADA Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional, client-centered technical support for Ulteig Plant SCADA control systems and clients.

• Detect and rectify PLC logic issues and improvements.

• Conduct break/fix troubleshooting alongside remote preventative maintenance support.

• Collaborate with clients and contractors effectively.

• Execute logic updates and conduct thorough testing.

• Regularly engage with clients in the renewable energy sector.

• Create and evaluate PLC/HMI/SCADA programs.

• Foster positive relationships with clients and respond to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Program PLCs utilizing platforms such as Allen Bradley, Schneider, or SEL RTAC.

• Develop HMI/SCADA systems using tools like Ignition, Wonderware, or Kepware/Topserver.

• Carry out remote troubleshooting while adhering to best practices in live systems, including NERC CIP, ISO, and NIST standards.

• Comprehend and revise technical documentation, such as control logic, testing protocols, and user manuals.

• Take responsibility for personal and product quality.

• Complete assignments punctually and within budget constraints.

• Report to a Technical Manager or Engineering Supervisor.

• Engage in technical training sessions or conferences and share insights through technical reports or team presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A two-year technical degree.

• 4-7 years of experience in Industrial Control Systems, Integration of Robotics Systems, or related programming fields.

• Familiarity with the renewable energy industry, including Wind, PV, and BESS.

• Preferred experience in Function Block and/or structured text programming.

• Proven knowledge and proficiency in communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures.

• Capability to utilize common, discipline-specific software and assist others in using it.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent time management, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

• Capacity to establish and sustain effective working relationships with staff, management, and clients.

• Competence in reading and creating engineering design drawings, including communication diagrams, logic diagrams, and network schematics.

• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SQL, and Access.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational capabilities.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

• Valid driver's license and capability to meet company driving standards.
