This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Deliver technical systems engineering support to enterprise customers and channel partners.
• Collaborate with Account teams to pinpoint SD-WAN opportunities and collect WAN requirements.
• Develop VeloCloud SD-WAN and broader Arista solutions that align with customer technical and business goals.
• Assist in the sales of VeloCloud SD-WAN and campus solutions through channel partners and directly to end customers.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations, and take part in sales calls with prospects and customers.
• Design VeloCloud SD-WAN networks utilizing cloud-delivered architecture, Dynamic Multipath Optimization, and integrated security features.
• Architect and advocate for Arista SD-Branch architecture along with comprehensive branch networking and security solutions.
• Create integrated solutions that encompass SD-WAN, campus switching, wireless, and security, including Zero Trust Networking and branch-level topology.
• Lead the technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and sales proposals.
• Convert WAN requirements into design documents, statements of work, bills of materials, and support agreements.
• Execute Proofs of Concept and practical tests to confirm customer setups.
• Provide technical training for prospects, customers, and channel partners.
• Manage customer escalations with Engineering and Technical Support.
• Relay customer and partner feedback to Engineering and Product Management.
• Represent Arista at customer and industry events, conferences, and presentations for channel partners.
• A BS/CS/CE technical degree or equivalent experience is essential.
• At least 7+ years of pre-sales experience in data centers, campus, WAN technologies, or cloud services.
• Experience working with Value Added Resellers and Systems Integrators in the enterprise market.
• Background as a Technical Marketing Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Networking Engineer within the WAN networking sector.
• Practical experience in managing POCs, field trials, and beta programs.
• Familiarity with supporting sales personnel on pre-sales calls, presenting technical solutions, performing technical demonstrations, and providing technical context.
• Expert knowledge in three or more of the following: Ethernet/LAN switching, IPSec, IP Routing (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Understanding of cloud services and routing capabilities in AWS, Azure, or GCP Virtual Private Clouds.
• Experience in selling or supporting the Arista campus portfolio, which includes switches, WiFi, and security solutions.
• Knowledge of Arista EOS and CloudVision for unified management and zero-touch operations.
• Outstanding communication and listening abilities; capable of building rapport and credibility with enterprise customers and channel partners.
• Competence in effectively presenting technology and business propositions to customers, peers, and management.
• Network Industry Certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with REST API, Python scripting, and Ansible is a plus.
