This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee intricate system design, encompassing I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Enhance and broaden expertise through training, publications, and engagement within the industry.
• Offer technical guidance across various projects and teams.
• Assist in business development by crafting technical proposals and delivering presentations.
• Work in conjunction with project managers to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-efficient project delivery.
• Mentor engineers, providing expert advice across technical, financial, and operational areas.
• Promote company design standards and quality through the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Engage in proactive and professional communication with clients.
• Comply with client-specific standards and procedures.
• Provide prompt problem-solving support.
• Execute and supervise project tasks within the set schedule and budget.
• Lead complete project lifecycles when designated.
• Act as the primary contact for customers regarding assigned projects.
• Identify changes in scope and new business opportunities.
• Effectively delegate tasks and ensure team accountability.
• Accurately predict timelines and manage project risks.
• Cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Direct and assist junior staff in construction, operations, and maintenance activities as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with relevant experience.
• Over 10 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II or in a comparable role.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or pertinent industry certifications are preferred.
• Advanced leadership and decision-making skills.
• Capability to maintain effectiveness under pressure.
• Strong mindset for innovation and process enhancement.
• Proven track record in motivating and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities within the industry.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development.
• Active involvement in industry organizations.
• Up to 50% overnight travel may be necessary.
• Participation in an on-call rotation as required.
• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Must maintain fitness for duty at all times.
