This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee intricate system design, encompassing I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Continuously enhance expertise through training, publications, and active engagement in the industry.
• Offer technical leadership across various projects and teams.
• Assist in business development via technical proposals and presentations.
• Work closely with project managers to guarantee timely, precise, and cost-effective project delivery.
• Guide and mentor engineers, providing expert advice across technical, financial, and operational areas.
• Promote company design standards and quality through the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Engage proactively and professionally with customers.
• Comply with client-specific standards and procedures.
• Deliver prompt problem-solving support.
• Carry out and supervise project tasks within schedule and budget constraints.
• Lead complete project lifecycles when designated.
• Act as the primary customer contact for designated projects.
• Recognize scope changes and identify new business opportunities.
• Effectively delegate tasks and ensure accountability within the team.
• Provide accurate timeline estimations and manage project risks.
• Encourage a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Direct and assist junior staff in construction, operations, and maintenance activities as necessary.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with relevant experience.
• Over 10 years of total experience.
• More than 3 years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or relevant industry certifications are preferred.
• Advanced leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure.
• Strong inclination towards innovation and process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor engineers.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills within the industry.
• Dedication to continuous professional development.
• Active involvement in industry organizations.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time may be necessary.
• Participation in on-call rotation as required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be fit for duty at all times.
