This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead intricate system design efforts, encompassing I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Enhance and broaden expertise through ongoing training, publications, and active engagement in the industry.
• Provide technical leadership across various projects and teams.
• Support business development initiatives by crafting technical proposals and delivering presentations.
• Collaborate with project managers to guarantee timely, accurate, and cost-effective project delivery.
• Mentor engineers and offer expert guidance in technical, financial, and operational areas.
• Promote company design standards and quality through the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Engage proactively and professionally with clients.
• Comply with client-specific standards and procedures.
• Offer prompt problem-solving assistance.
• Execute and oversee project tasks to adhere to schedule and budget constraints.
• Lead complete project lifecycles when designated.
• Act as the primary contact for customers on assigned projects.
• Recognize scope changes and identify new business opportunities.
• Delegate tasks efficiently and ensure team accountability.
• Accurately estimate timelines and manage project risks.
• Cultivate a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Direct and assist junior staff in construction, operations, and maintenance activities as necessary.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with pertinent experience.
• Over 10 years of overall experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent).
• Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or relevant industry certifications.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to remain effective in high-pressure situations.
• Innovative mindset with a focus on process improvement.
• Proven capability to motivate and mentor engineering professionals.
• Excellent relationship-building skills within the industry.
• Dedication to continuous professional development.
• Active involvement in industry organizations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight as required.
• Participation in on-call rotation as necessary.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must consistently be fit for duty.
