Systems Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Manage enterprise-level infrastructure, encompassing network, server, storage, and data environments.

• Assess system performance, availability, and capacity to pinpoint issues and propose enhancements.

• Execute enhancements, upgrades, and configuration modifications to the infrastructure.

• Oversee backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.

• Diagnose and rectify infrastructure, network, storage, and system-related problems.

• Facilitate data availability and fulfill disaster recovery goals.

• Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient technology operations.

• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to align with organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with three (3) years of experience in information technology, data analytics, or reporting development, possessing knowledge of relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL).

• Required certification applicable when qualifying through a high school diploma or GED pathway.

• Associate's degree with one (1) year of experience in information technology, data analytics, or reporting development, having knowledge of relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL).

• Required certification applicable when qualifying through an Associate's degree pathway.

• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

• An applicable information technology certification is mandatory when qualifying through a high school diploma, GED, or Associate's degree pathway.

• Acceptable certifications include Microsoft data systems certifications CSTP, ISTQB, ASTQB, MTA, MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, ITIL v3, Power BI, INFORMS, IIBA, AWS, Azure, or equivalent certifications.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Must reside within the state of North Carolina.

• All candidates are required to pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
