Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute system architectures to guarantee the integrity of security frameworks.

• Lead and collaborate with systems administrators and project team members regarding system configurations.

• Establish and maintain cost-effective, efficient hardware and software to meet project needs.

• Configure servers with appropriate hardening and firewall policies to secure inter-server communications.

• Deploy Azeus applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and KSA cloud.

• Oversee the implementation of Azeus applications at client facilities.

• Manage hardening of server and application software as well as the setup of firewall policies.

• Identify and evaluate system integration challenges.

• Troubleshoot server issues by determining root causes and executing immediate corrective actions.

• Develop and apply corrective strategies for recurring issues.

• Create and implement preventive measures.

• Recognize repetitive tasks and suggest automation solutions.

• Provide on-call support for support-related cases.

• Participate in comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a comparable systems engineering/support/DevOps position.

• Knowledgeable about cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud), firewalls, and Linux-based systems.

• Quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Solid organizational skills with the capacity to perform well under pressure and time constraints.

• Adaptable and flexible with the ability to accommodate changing shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, and different time zones.
