Senior Systems Engineer – Enterprise Integrated Technologies Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with the Federal EHR HIT Modernization program initiatives for the Indian Health Service Electronic Health Records Modernization program.

• Participate in device engineering workstream programs and projects.

• Create solutions for intricate device engineering workstream challenges.

• Execute systems design, development, and integration throughout the lifecycle of the systems.

• Supervise the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of biomedical and end-user devices in collaboration with customers.

• Prepare and update documentation for processes and procedures related to device engineering projects.

• Offer solutions for issues related to security, backup, and redundancy.

• Stay informed about biomedical and end-user devices as well as the Oracle Health EHR system.

• Collaborate across functions with cybersecurity and implementation workstreams.

• Mentor less-experienced professionals and may act as a team or task lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting medium-to-large IT projects.

• Familiarity with Oracle HEALTH.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Experience in developing solutions for complex device engineering workstream issues.

• Must be capable of obtaining a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year, if necessary.

• Background in biomedical device design, device integration, and medical device technologies.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and meet tight deadlines.

• Capacity to generate high-quality documentation.
