This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Collaborate with systems, software, integration, and test engineers to design and implement avionics system solutions.
• Assist in the development, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and interfaces.
• Contribute to verification planning and test development to ensure that implementations meet system requirements.
• Engage in technical reviews of requirements, design documents, and test procedures.
• Integrate feedback into technical projects.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in laboratory and development settings.
• Acquire knowledge of avionics development throughout the engineering lifecycle, from concept and requirements to integration and verification.
• Utilize system requirements, architectural artifacts, and verification methods in aerospace programs.
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment with guidance and mentorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field by the start date.
• Coursework or project experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, software development, aerospace, or controls is preferred.
• Familiarity with requirements development, verification, testing, or model-based engineering concepts is preferred.
• Proficiency with Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo, or comparable engineering tools is advantageous.
• Experience in team-oriented technical projects, including design reviews, troubleshooting, or test execution is preferred.
• Candidates must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.
