Systems Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Establish and manage user accounts, security access, and permissions for client workgroups and domains.

• Stay updated on client hardware and operating systems.

• Oversee servers to detect performance issues and troubleshoot problems.

• Install new server software, implement security patches, update existing applications, and uninstall unnecessary software.

• Perform backups and conduct preventative maintenance for client systems.

• Address user connectivity issues and resolve them within the scope of the role.

• Escalate complex technical challenges to senior engineers.

• Instruct users on the effective operation of equipment and supported technology.

• Assist with the installation of communications hardware and minor equipment repairs as part of training and development.

• Engage in communication with leaders, teammates, and customers.

• Develop strong customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.

• Provide support for standard systems administration, server monitoring, maintenance, connectivity, and customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree is mandatory.

• At least two years of experience in a networking or related technical domain.

• A+ certification is required.

• OEM equipment certifications are needed.

• Microsoft certifications are essential.

• Familiarity with ASTEA is preferred.

• Strong dedication to service quality and process enhancement.

• Customer-centric communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Capability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple responsibilities.

• Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively.

• Ability to interpret technical procedures and convey information to diverse audiences.

• Proficient business writing and documentation skills.

• Effective practical problem-solving skills.
