Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver systems engineering assistance for the technical architecture, environmental configuration, and integration of the Oracle Cloud EPM solution with federal health systems.

• Develop technical environments for various stages including development, testing, training, demonstration, and production.

• Create connectivity solutions between Oracle Cloud and federal source systems, encompassing network paths, VPN, and secure file transfers.

• Manage the B2B gateway questionnaire and oversee connectivity testing.

• Set up CAC-based single sign-on and integrate identity with DoD identity frameworks.

• Aid in hardening environment-level security and provide the necessary technical evidence for the ATO.

• Diagnose system-level performance, connectivity, and integration challenges.

• Keep technical architecture documentation and maintain environment baselines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in systems engineering within enterprise IT programs.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and configuring environments.

• Familiarity with identity federation, single sign-on (SAML), and CAC/PKI authentication.

• Sound understanding of networking, secure file transfers, and cloud connectivity.

• Experience in documenting system architecture and environmental configurations.

• Capability to obtain and sustain a Tier 2 background investigation and CAC eligibility.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information and be capable of obtaining a government-issued security clearance.

• Subject to a background check, which includes criminal history, employment and educational verification, drug testing, and credit assessment.

• Previous experience supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) or Military Health System (MHS) is preferred.

• Experience in integrating cloud SaaS platforms with DoD source systems is preferred.

• Preferable experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or Oracle EPM Cloud administration.

• Prior knowledge of DoD network connectivity processes is advantageous.
