Systems Developer – Journeyman

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and conduct unit testing for tailored interfaces, extensions, and integrations within the Oracle Cloud EPM solution.

• Assist in build and release operations following the Agile development methodology.

• Construct and unit-test inbound data interfaces and automated loading procedures that execute at least daily.

• Design data transformation, validation, and error-handling mechanisms for source feeds.

• Create scripts and automation processes for EPM data loads, metadata updates, and scheduled tasks.

• Develop automated unit and integration tests as part of each sprint cycle.

• Securely store configuration and credentials in encrypted credential management systems instead of in source code.

• Address defects identified during system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

• Create documentation for interface designs and operational runbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in software or interface development.

• Familiarity with API-based integrations and middleware.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.

• Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, or Groovy.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, file-based integrations like SFTP, and data transformation techniques.

• Experience with version control systems using Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Tier 2 background investigation and necessary CAC eligibility.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must meet the eligibility criteria for access to classified information and be able to secure a government-issued security clearance.
