This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Identify, define, and document issues or situations that require attention or enhancement.
• Offer technical assistance for Supply Chain Applications that support Agriculture, Customer Service, Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Environmental/Social/Governance.
• Gather, collect, and arrange information to improve understanding of issues and aid communication.
• Analyze, investigate, and interpret complex challenges by breaking them down into smaller parts.
• Design, analyze, and advocate for software solutions by writing code or configuring both commercial off-the-shelf and custom-developed systems.
• Build, configure, install, and maintain sophisticated applications or system software.
• Generate and revise system, user, testing, and training documentation.
• Engage in both conceptual and detailed design activities according to project specifications.
• Follow system development standards and process methodologies.
• Formulate functional, integration, regression, and stress test plans.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions/plans for engineers.
• Assess business process challenges and provide consulting support to system users.
• Conduct research on potential solutions and offer recommendations.
• Provide guidance on application development, configuration, and support responsibilities managed by service providers.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams across North America and other global regions.
• Offer support for multiple 24/7 facilities through on-call duties.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
• Over 4 years of experience in an applications development environment.
• Proficiency in developing applications using VB, C#, JavaScript, ASP, Python, and .Net.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in SQL query language and relational database management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Some travel may be necessary - approximately 10%.
• On-call responsibilities for supporting multiple 24/7 facilities.
• Solid understanding of computer software and hardware.
• Capability to solve problems and think critically.
