Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure environments, including overseeing multiple subscriptions and contributing to a multi-tenant architecture.

• Support and enhance enterprise system architectures and standards to ensure scalability, security, and operational consistency.

• Administer and support Windows Server environments, which includes deployment, patching, lifecycle management, and architectural support.

• Operate and maintain Microsoft SCCM and SCOM for effective systems management, monitoring, and visibility.

• Facilitate endpoint and device management solutions utilizing Microsoft Intune, MDM, and JAMF.

• Provide operational assistance for enterprise endpoint access and remote support tools like Bomgar.

• Support and maintain DNS services and SFTP platforms for business and application integrations.

• Implement and support Azure Arc for visibility and management of hybrid and non-Azure resources.

• Collaborate with Security teams to deploy, monitor, and operationalize Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.

• Execute projects focused on systems across Veralto Operating Companies.

• Document system configurations, standards, and operational procedures.

• Work alongside Network, Security, and Cloud Architecture teams to ensure reliable and aligned infrastructure services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.

• Hands-on experience with supporting Microsoft Azure environments, including management at the subscription level.

• Strong background in administering Windows Server within enterprise or cloud-integrated settings.

• Proficient in operating Microsoft SCCM, SCOM, and Intune.

• Practical experience in endpoint management, including MDM solutions and JAMF.

• Experience with enterprise security platforms such as Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.

• Working knowledge of Azure Arc and concepts related to hybrid systems management.

• Experience in supporting DNS (both internal and external) and managed file transfer platforms (SFTP).

• Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and scripting (PowerShell preferred).

• Strong troubleshooting abilities and capacity to resolve complex systems issues in production environments.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a global infrastructure team.

• Relevant industry certifications are preferred.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

• Experience in large enterprise or multi-OpCo environments is preferred.

• Experience supporting infrastructure platforms during mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, or organizational changes is preferred.
